LEARN & PRACTICE AT THE RIGHT DEPTH FOR YOU
What is shared with you: This course offers deep content and related somatic lessons. Each cohort forms a community and live sessions offer rich discussions and meaningful connections. You’ll receive a Guidebook that grows each session, with optional "homeplay” including a mix of discussion prompts, reading options, and practice exercises.
Make the journey your own: What you do with what is shared, is up to you. I trust you to decide what depth of engagement and work is right for you. So, you can do all the exercises and write responses to the reflection prompts, or not. You can practice the somatic tools, or not. You can read the books I reference throughout the course, or not. It will be a meaningful experience no matter how you proceed, while the depth is up to you and what fits for your life.
Support for the journey: Once registered, each student may book one, one-hour private systemic coaching session during the training weeks. This is an opportunity to unpack a learning topic of interest, explore personal content that is evoked or provoked in the course of the ELL journey, or receive accompaniment while integrating this rich material. Up to three additional private sessions are available to students at a reduced rate, as an optional add-on with registration, or if desired during the training.
THE OUTCOMES TO TAKE WITH YOU
Through the Embodied Life, Leadership, and Decision-Making learning journey, you'll explore many ways of knowing, and take with you:
-
A working vocabulary of systemic terminology and principles
-
A growing toolbox of personal somatic exercises and paired practices
-
A deeper comfort in dynamic situations, with the confidence to hold the space for emergence
-
A comprehensive ELL Guidebook for Homeplay that grows every session
-
A more calibrated felt-sense of what's happening in conversations, groups, and systems, and what you might want to do with that awareness
-
A stronger capacity to regulate your nervous system and attune to others, offering presence that steadies the people and systems around you
-
New tools to make any conversation more system-wise
-
A community of wonderful new colleagues and friends with aligned interests
I am dedicated to this work, because I believe that leaders who include somatic phenomenology and systemic principles in their ways of knowing move differently in the world, and create more conscious impacts. They're harder to knock off center, knowing how to resource themselves as needed. They're more at home in themselves, less inhibited, and more capable of responding to the emerging field.
This is the capacity the world needs as we co-create more resilient systems together.

The Many Ways Payment Flow
In alignment with the Many Ways Payment Flow, a sliding payment scale and monthly payment plans are available for this offering. Please choose the level that best reflects your financial reality, while honoring others in the circle.
I long for a world in which there is ample, equitable access to support and services at every scale of the social system. The Many Ways approach to payment flow recognizes that what is equitable (fair to the circumstances) is not necessarily equal (the same for all). Different people at various times have diverse needs and capacities. This is life.
Please choose the best rate for you and your financial reality. For those in a position to give, your contributions support me in welcoming others to the fires I'm tending.
QUESTIONS I IMAGINE YOU MIGHT HAVE
FAQs
Do I need prior experience with Constellations or somatic work?
Not at all. Genuine curiosity is the only prerequisite. Both beginners and beginner's mind are welcome. Those with prior experience will find the work rich and rewarding, with opportunities to share your knowledge with others, too. Sessions are designed to meet you where you are.
What if I miss a session?
Attendance is encouraged and the community experience is central to the value, but if you miss a session, you won't lose your place. You'll receive a recording of the session and the ELL Guidebook for Homeplay session chapter. You will also be making connections in the training, which can lead to practicing together outside of the live full-group sessions.
Is this therapy?
No. The Embodied Life, Leadership, and Decision-Making Training is an educational community of practice. The practices are designed to build awareness, skill, and discernment, but not to process trauma or serve as clinical treatment. If something tender surfaces, I will provide support within the scope of the container, while also referring you to more appropriate resources.
How many people will be in the group?
This is an intimate community experience. Space is intentionally limited to keep the learning alive and the connections real. Register early to secure your spot.
Where exactly is it held?
ELL Level 1 & 2 are both online trainings. Systemic Summer School is a related in-person community of practice that takes place in my studio within Portland.
What should I bring or how should I prepare?
Please bring your full self and genuine curiosity. You’ll likely want a notebook or sketchbook handy. In terms of preparation, as noted above, you can participate at whatever depth makes sense to you.
How does the payment plan work?
You can pay in full at registration, or choose the four-payment option towards the same total, split into monthly installments. If you're in a position of financial need beyond the listed levels, please reach out about the scholarship rate possibilities before registering.
I'm interested in Family Constellations or other learning opportunities. Does this connect?
You betcha, and beautifully so. Systemic & Family Constellation Workshops take place monthly in Portland and several times a year on the coast in Newport. The Constellations on the Coast Retreat (October 8–11) is also a strong connection point for this work and evolving community. Each of these offers stand alone while enriching the others.
