Embodied Life, Leadership & Decision Making Training
In turbulent times find your still point within.
Life and leadership during crisis is extra difficult if you make it all a head game.

Embodied leadership means knowing in your bones, trusting your gut, and following your feet. Finding that still point of knowing is possible, even in turbulent times.

Inspiration behind this training opportunity:
Turbulent times taught me to find my still point within. Conditions:
-
Leadership role: National director position in a maternal-child health nonprofit.
-
Landscape crisis: Mothers and babies brutally separated at the border.
-
Diverse organization: The organization’s diverse membership both embodied and was accountable to many communities.
-
Funding vulnerability: Much of the organization’s funding was from federal sources, which was a point of potential vulnerability.
-
No obvious consensus: Since it was uncharted territory, there was no natural consensus across staff and board as to how to respond.
Each decision required a felt sense of my values, visions, and vistas.
-
My values are the core beliefs underlying my conscience.
-
My visions are the conceptions of how to functionally advance change in the world.
-
My vistas are where I glimpse the unfolding potential for humanity beyond our conscious awareness and familiar assumptions.
Four lineages of practice are woven into all Many Ways offerings
-
Equity, inclusion, and justice work. This is concerned with disrupting oppression, courageously shaping structures and cultures to facilitate belonging, and actively navigating difference with compassion and skill.
-
Systemic principles of human systems. These principles are the foundation of Systemic & Family Constellations, and Systemic Coaching with Many Ways. Once understood, it's easier to perceive dynamics and facilitate ease.
-
Somatic wisdom (or body intelligence). Mental and emotional intelligence can take us far, but can also distort, project, and distract. The body is direct and honest. Your own body sensations can also not be denied by someone else.
-
Collective Impact to leverage resources and achieve results. Cross-sector collaboration helps groups find common ground, act, and achieve results at scale.

This training weaves these experiences and influences.
From principles to practices, receive insight and tools you can immediately use.
Discover practical strategies to make clear, grounded decisions by tapping into the wisdom of your body. This course explores leadership, family patterns, and decision-making tools, offering a supportive, small-group environment for reflection and growth.

Expect readings, prompts, and practices between sessions, with opportunities for deep connection in a confidential, caring space.

The Embodied Life, Leadership, & Decision-Making Training will become the foundation curriculum for future trainings offered by Many Ways, including Constellation facilitation.
